How does payment work for my monthly or yearly subscription?

We offer a monthly membership for $5.99 and a yearly one that is $3.25 a month. You can cancel either at any time. Both of these memberships, however, auto-renew at the end of each cycle unless you cancel your membership.
What exactly do I get if I subscribe online and become a Plus Member?

Access: Plus is the digital-news program for our community newspapers. Plus members get online access to hundreds of news stories a week across all publications. You can also access digital editions of each newspaper as well as digital editions of our classifieds sections.

Email News Alerts: Plus members are also signed up Breaking News email alerts from the communities of their choice. These emails detail breaking and important news and information about which residents should know.

Digital PDFs/Photos: With a Plus membership, users can attain their favorite images from the newspaper. Upon request, our editors will email over page PDFs from the print newspapers or digital photographs taken by our staff.

Where can I sign-up and customize my newsletters?

All seven of our newspapers send out Breaking News alerts. You can choose from which town you want the news once you are logged into your account. After you log in, click on “My Account” and then click on “Newsletter Subscriptions.” There you can pick and choose which email alerts.
Can I have more than one person tied to the same online subscription?

Each online membership can only be associated with one email address and password. If family members wish to share access online, they must share the email and password tied to the online account.
Your newspaper is already delivered to my house. Why should I subscribe online?

Your Plus membership is much more than your typical online subscription. Not only are you able to read the news from your newspaper – and all other area newspapers – online, but you also are able to read them as they happen, days and sometimes weeks before they are available in print. As a Plus Member, you can also receive Breaking News emails and digital PDFs and photos.
Can I cancel my account at any time and how do I do that?

Yes, of course. To cancel your online account you must log into your account then click on “My Account," then click on “Edit” and then “Cancel Account.” You may also contact support at (708) 326-9170 or Our staff can cancel your account or answer any questions you may have.
Can I submit stories or events online?

This is currently not a feature we offer; however, if you have a story idea, press release, photos from events or want to announce an upcoming event, you can email the editor of your hometown newspaper and submit it to them directly.
